Build and marvel at the Taj Mahal! The enormous ivory-white marble mausoleum is one of the world’s most iconic architectural wonders. Commissioned in 1631 by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Empress Mumtaz Mahal, this re-introduced LEGO Creator Expert version from 2008 features all 4 facades of the structure, with sweeping arches, balconies and arched windows.
The central dome, underlying domed chambers and surrounding minarets are finished with decorative finials, and the raised platform is edged with recessed arches. The model is finished with ornate detailing and intricate tiling around the base. This set contains over 5,900 bricks and has been specially designed to provide the builder with a rewarding building experience. The model will make a beautiful display piece for the home or office.
