LEGO 40417 Year of the Ox

The LEGO 40417 Year of the Ox building set features a stylized ox sitting on a base plate. Angled pieces form some wavy hair on its head, and it even has a tail with a swirly top. The ball joints indicate that the arms and legs can be held in place, but the ears also appear to be movable, allowing for a number of expressive possibilities.
Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival or Spring Festival, is the most important of the Chinese holidays. Chinese New Year is celebrated on the first through the fifteenth day of the first month of the Chinese calendar. The Chinese year begins on the second new moon after the winter solstice on December 21. This cannot occur before January 21 and cannot occur after February 20. Also: the beginning of the Spring Festival (Ch'un-chieh) or Xin Nian (New Year).
This festival (and the two days following it) is celebrated throughout most of Asia - and everywhere where there is a significant Chinese population. It is celebrated on the first day of the first month of the Chinese calendar, which is the day of the second new moon after the winter solstice.
